Back to reality....

Leaving the beach was tough but we fell right back into our routine.
When looking at the pics from the week, I could not help but notice that A seems happiest with household toys...bowls and boxes can be very entertaining!
Enjoying an evening with the G family.  The boys enjoyed playing with each other....
The chalkboard was a great idea while A could not move....now getting a picture with it is close to impossible!
If you want to attend a parade, call Mrs. A!  She has been the host to A's first and second parades.
Fourth of July

Trivia pregame at our house with BFD.

Outer Banks!

We met up with my folks for a week in the Outer Banks.  We started our trip with a stop at Virgina Beach with the crew and then relaxed at the beach for an entire week in Hatteras Village, way down there!  Most of our time was spent at the beach or on the balcony while Alex slept.  It was great to spend the time with my parents and sister.  J was a bathing beauty.....running into the ocean, jumping into the pool or posing in the sand.  My uncle and aunt came to visit from Georgia too.  We had not seen then for over a year so it was great to catch up and introduce A to them.
We did trek up the Hatteras Lighthouse which is the tallest lighthouse on the East Coast.....ask my mom about the lens cap....or rather, ask my dad!
A loved the sand and the boogie boards.....he was a little scared of the water at first, but in no time he was enjoying the pool.

June Fun!

Before heading to the Outer Banks, we enjoyed the first part of June by cooling off inside, going to Alex's Lemonade Stand (with sweet K and her dad), reading some books and enjoying the water....
